Close your eyes for a moment — imagine volcanic sand under your boots, mist rolling through pine forest, and the first golden light touching Segara Anak lake at 2,639 meters. Mount Rinjani is not just a destination. It is a feeling you carry long after you descend.
Mount Rinjani rises above Lombok — Indonesia's second-highest peak at 3,726 meters, crowned by the turquoise Segara Anak crater lake. Trek through ancient monsoon forest, cross golden savanna slopes, camp beneath a sky so clear the Milky Way feels close enough to touch, and stand where pilgrims have felt the mountain's sacred presence for generations.
Our licensed guides know every switchback from Senaru to Sembalun. Porters carry the weight so you can focus on the trail — the crunch of scree underfoot, the smell of pine after rain, the moment the crater lake first appears through the clouds.
Two official routes — Sembalun and Senaru — each revealing a different face of the mountain.

From Senaru's rainforest to Sembalun's savanna — every path leads to the same awe: standing above the clouds on sacred ground.
At 2,639 meters, night falls fast. Stars emerge one by one until the entire sky belongs to you and the crater glows below.
Descend to the sacred lake where steam rises from hot springs. Fish swim in turquoise water — nature's sanctuary inside a volcano.
The final ascent begins in darkness. Headlamps trace a line of light up the scree until the sun erupts over Lombok, Bali, and the ocean.
Authentic mountain camps where warm meals and dry tents await after hours on the trail. Rest well — tomorrow the summit calls.
Gateway through golden savanna grasslands. Wake to dew on your tent and the summit visible on the horizon.
Crater rim camp at 2,639m — watch clouds pour into the caldera like a slow waterfall at sunset.

Rainforest village gateway. Moss-covered roots, bird calls, and the promise of the crater above.
Real stories from trekkers who felt the cold summit wind and the warmth of Segara Anak at dawn.
I closed my laptop on Friday. By Sunday sunrise I was on Rinjani's summit with tears in my eyes. The cold wind, the crater lake far below — I finally understood why they call this mountain sacred.
Segara Anak at dawn changed something in me. I could smell pine forest, feel warmth from the hot springs, and see stars reflected in the lake. It felt like the mountain was breathing with me.
The final push in darkness, then light exploding over the ocean — I still get goosebumps. This site made me feel the trail before I even laced my boots.
